Below are our most frequently asked questions
Sheets - All sheets and blankets are provided plus a couple extra in the closets
Towels - Bath towels are provided at the rate of 1 per day, per person. Hand and dish towels are also provided. If you plan on using the hot tub, bringing extra towels is recommended
Soap and toilitries - Please bring soap and shampoo as needed. Hand and dish soap are provided
Grills - All grills are charcoal. You should plan on bringing charcoal and lighter fluid
Pets - Some cabins are on occasion pet friendly. You need to check with us prior to bringing your pet. There is a pet fee if your pet is approved
Fireplaces - All cabin fireplaces are gas-log except Hunter Lodge and Uncle Bunkys. Some firewood is provided but available locally if you need additional
Hot Tubs - All cabins are equipped with outdoor hot tubs. Please read all applicable "hot tub rules" prior to use
Directions - We email directions to your cabin after your reservation has been confirmed. All cabins have also been mapped using "Google Maps" that can be used for driving directions
Deposits - Deposits are 25% of the total rental amount or $100.00...whichever is greater. Your deposit is subtracted from the total rental charge
Cooking Utensils - There is a good selection of cooking utensils in each cabin. But, if you are a gourmet you might consider bring an extra pan or two
Eating Utensils - All are provided in each cabin
Internet Access - There is no internet access at the cabins but the town of Bryson City has free wi-fi
Phones - There are no phones in the cabins. Please bring your cell phone. You may check with your cell provider for access in the 28713 zip code or the 828 area code
Outdoor Firepits - There is an outdoor firepit that is centrally located on the property
Distance to town - About 5 miles or about 10 minutes...curvy mountain roads
Age to rent - 21
Is there snow skiing in the area - There several snow skiing areas 45 minutes to 1.5 hours from the cabins. Please check the site http://www.skinorthcarolina.com for more information
Do you offer discounts? - We do offer seasonal and weekly discounts. Please call for more information
Are there king size beds in the cabins? - Blue Sky Ranch and Country Cottage have king size beds. All other cabins have queen beds
Is there a minimum night stay? - 2 nights generally, 3-4 nights on holidays. Please call or email for more information
Are there water activities such as canoeing, rafting in the area? - Our area has many whitewater activities. Please check our chamber of commerce site at www.greatsmokies.com for more information
Are the cabins handicap accessible? - We apologize but at this time we have no cabins that are handicapped accessible
